The summer of 2018 was unusually hot in Bergen. Norwegian progrock-band Knekklectric, who are working on new songs for their third album, decided to move indoors in the boiling weather.

Together with producer and engineer Iver Sandøy, they set up a mobile recording studio in guitarist Edvard Brøther´s living room. The goal was to record some of their new songs as stripped down acoustic demos - in one day.

The result is the release called "Maskinelt Utbeina EP". Everything is recorded live.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
